I’ve never sold a saddle before and quite frankly was worried about the whole process!! The saddle bank staff were so helpful and friendly and the entire process was so simple and very quick payment! I’ve sold three saddles via the saddle bank - all have been relatively hassle free. A few things I would change : 1) don’t make it mandatory to type in a figure that you’d accept for the saddle. Each time I’ve been offered just below the figure I’ve put which makes me think the default answer is to lowball the accepted figure even if low already. Removing this would make it fairer for the seller. 2) Be more transparent about when a saddle has sold. When using the commission option I was only told about the sale of the saddle after I chased up. Not when it actually occurred. Not a deal breaker but would have been helpful to know so that I could anticipate the money in advance. Other than that it’s a relatively easy process and a service I will probably use again :)
